St Barnabas Church, Joydens Wood

Children and young people are important to us

KING'S KIDS, our group for children aged 3 and upwards meets at the same time as the church service, with stories, fun activities, songs and simple Bible teaching. When Kings Kids is not running, children are provided with supervised activities within the main service, and worship alongside the adults. Local uniformed organisations, scouts, guides, cubs, brownies, rainbows and beavers join us for our regular Parade Services.
There is a creche room for parents with younger children. We have a special MONTHLY afternoon service
which is called Sunday @ 4 on the fourth Sunday of each month, at (yes you guessed it!) 4pm!

Baptism for children

If you're thinking of having your child baptised (christened) please contact the Vicar, who'll arrange to meet you and talk through what's involved.
